Information Required to Order Stage Draperies

We need to know the Type, Quantity, Height, Width, Fullness and Fabric. Note the words long or length are never used; it only causes confusion. If there is a specification involved, please send it along when you request the quote. Otherwise, we will quote using the standard specifications listed above.

    • Curtain Type: for example, Front Curtain, Act Curtain, Main Curtain, Grand Drape, Olio, Valance, Traveler, Border, Teaser, Wing, Side Arm, Flipper, Tab, Leg, Divider, Banner, Portal, Austrian, Tableau, Braille, Waterfall, Contour, Venetian, Cyclorama, Drop, Scrim, Bounce etc.
    • Quantity: This is the number of curtain panels.
    • Height: This is the actual height of the curtain, measured from the top edge of the fabric to the bottom edge of the fabric.
    • Width: This is the finished horizontal space a curtain covers. The width should be measured at the top hem of the curtain. Measuring at the top hem provides the actual width of the curtain.
    • Fullness: This is the percentage of added fabric needed to achieve a pleated curtain. If a 50% full curtain is 10 feet wide, we will add 50% of 10 feet (5 feet) and use 15 feet of fabric in the 10’ width curtain.
    • Fabric: A large variety of fabrics are available to select for your curtain, including: Cotton Velour, Commando Cloth, Repp Cloth, and others depending upon your requirements. Fabric weight should also be chosen to meet your needs.
