The weight of a vertically seamed curtain is easily calculated. The yardage times the fabric weight in ounces per yard divided by 16 times 1.15 = the weight of the curtain in pounds, when calculating curtain weights make sure to account for fullness as it affects the total fabric yardage. Velour is quoted in ounces.
